Avid reader reading a mixture of crime fiction, chick lit, young adult, autobiographies and true crime. Looking to follow readers who actively read and review books I enjoy to read.

Boy: Tales of Childhood - Roald Dahl, Quentin Blake I first read this in my English class in, I think, year 7 in 2001 and I thought it was fantastic. Some of the stories are so ridiculous that you find them hard to believe but it is certainly clear where Roald Dahl got his inspiration for some of the awful, amazing, hilarious and stupid characters he wrote about over the years. The story of the sweet lady rates extremely highly and is one of my favourite stories from an autobiography ever, not least because it reminded me of the sour faced old get who used to have a sweet shop around the corner from my house when I was a child.
