My review off another website, written on 17.08.2009
I'm a massive Deaver fan, but no writer can continually produce amazing work - and Deaver is no exception. For every good review for this book, there were 20 bad ones.
But I read it anyway. It was an okay book, but not one I would recommend or read again. It was very much James Patterson, very short chapters - but it didn't work.
Funnily enough this is the second 'standalone' Deaver book I've read. Will be sticking with Lincoln Rhyme and Kathryn Dance from now on.
